Joy

Our challenge this week, is to fill our hearts and homes with joy!

In the 23rd Psalm, we read about how the Lord is our shepherd and he invites us to “dwell in the house of the Lord.“ He wants us to live everyday with Him. 

Each Advent bag comes with a house that you are going to decorate. Talk about what it would look like for a home to be a house of the Lord full of joy that comes from Him.

Prayer & Gift of Joy

Have kids write down everything that brings them joy and create ways that they can help share that joy with everyone they come in contact with. 

Each Advent bag comes with a squishy star toy that reminds us of “the radiance of God’s glory“ the shepherds saw the night Jesus was born and how their joy shined out onto others as they shared the Good News.
