Many people have reached out to know how we can support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters as they endure such hardships and tragedy. It can be easy to feel helpless in a situation like this. First, let us just say…don’t despair…PRAY! Psalms 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

We “tithe” a significant portion of our budget each year to global humanitarian and missionary ventures each year. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries
One amazing benefit of being part of a GLOBAL denomination is our connection to churches and organizations in all the corners of the world….even in countries where Christianity is illegal. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries have been doing great work in Ukraine and in areas where refugees are fleeing. You can learn about their efforts and give directly to the organization HERE.
Josiah Venture
At New Life we have a unique connection to a fantastic organization that has been doing amazing work in Ukraine for years. Lee and Katie, with Josiah Venture, have deep roots at New Life. Their parents are highly involved and longterm New Lifers. Lee and Katie have visited New Life many times when they are “home” from Ukraine and have spoken at New Life about what God is doing through Josiah Venture in Ukraine. Since the crisis has hit, they’ve been providing humanitarian aid and using a 55-passenger bus to help refugees evacuate. Pack a box for restore ukraine
