Life Group Plans

But how does the transformation happen? Here is our plan to help you grow in a Life Group.

OUR PLAN TO HELP PEOPLE GROW SPIRITUALLY

Every person, church, or ministry is driven by some purpose. There is always a guiding force that determines values, decisions, and actions. Sports teams are driven by the desire to win, companies seek profit.

There are worldly purposes—such as chasing after popularity, power, and possessions—but these have temporary impact and ultimately leave us unfulfilled. While the Church has a higher calling, we can fall short when we allow traditions, personalities, programs, or gimmicks to become more important than God’s eternal purposes.

Unless the driving force behind a church is biblical, the health and growth of the church will never be what God intended.  Our purpose behind what we do can be found in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Great Commandment

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37–40

Great Commission

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19–20

We Desire to Seek God:

Through worship which is celebrating God’s presence by honoring God with our lifestyle, following the example of Jesus | “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” & by making Discipleship a priority by Educating God’s family by growing to become more like Jesus | “Teaching them to obey”

To Serve Others:

Through ministry teams demonstrating God’s Love by serving the needs of others in the name of Jesus | “Love your neighbor as yourself” & always preaching the importance of a lifestyle of evangelism which is communicating God’s Word by reaching non-believers with the good news about Jesus | “Go and make disciples”

Together:

We are better together and we do this through fellowship, which is Incorporating God’s people and connecting believers to the body of Christ, the church | “Baptizing them”
