Hope

Our challenge for this week, is to remember to choose hope. And not only choose it for ourselves but use the ways we just shared above to give hope. After all, isn’t this the season to give freely and cheerfully? 

Each Advent bag comes with an addressed (and stamped) envelope of someone at New Life that would love to receive a message of hope this Advent season. Please take the time to share hope through an encouragement card by sharing a Bible verse, prayer or even funny story. If you would like to possibly receive a letter in return please add your return address before sending.

Prayer & Gift of Hope

Have kids write down everyone that they would like to pray for and find ways to share HOPE with each of them. You can put these names on a fridge or in a jar on dining room table to draw one every night at dinner so you can pray for them. 

Each Advent bag comes with a bracelet that the child can wear daily as a reminder to pray for those who need hope.
