Be a Beautiful Disruption this Season!

During this season we want to show what a Holy Spirit-inspired and empowered community of believers can be as they embody the Kingdom and are sent out to their cities! How might God move and act as we intentionally listen to the Holy Spirit and respond with loving action? Below you’ll see some opportunities for you to jump in to make a change here in the Five Cities and around the world! However, don’t let this list limit your prophetic imagination! Listen to the Spirit and respond where and how He leads you!

During our regularly scheduled Last Wednesday class we’ll be kicking off our season of beautiful disruption! We’ll dive a bit deeper into the theology of the Holy Spirit and how He empowers and leads our mission as well as learn practical tips on how to listen to the Spirit more consistently and effectively. Then, we’ll put our learnings to practice by actually getting started on many of the projects you see listed here!

April 26 • Dinner: 5:30pm • Class + Projects: 6pm

Teacher appreciation

Disrupt the regular and at times, discouraging messages our High School teachers and staff receive by helping us spread some love to teachers, administrators and staff at Arroyo Grande High School. We’re bringing breakfast, goodies, and encouragement to them on Monday, May 1st and we are praying to give each person a $10 gift card to a local spot. Get involved by dropping off $10 gift cards by April 30th, or signing up to assemble gifts.

Assembly Project Date: Sunday, April 30th • afternoon

World Vision Global 6k

Help bring clean water to people around the globe! You can sign up to run/walk or donate through our CA Central Coast Team. This is a GREAT event for kids and families as well as anyone who wants to make a global impact!

Saturday, May 20 • 9am • run begins at New Life Campus

Community Blessing Projects

Package and deliver a little joy to specific groups in our community. Be a blessing by writing cards of encouragement and prayer, making blankets (it’s easy), baking goodies, packaging gift bags, or making delieveries. We plan to bless all of our first responders (fire, police, EMS, dispatchers, etc.), hospitals, shut-ins and more!

Community Prayer Outings • Five Cities in Five Weeks

How do we see God moving in our communities and in our neighborhoods? Have we stepped out of our “own little world” to see what is taking place – what our streets, parks, marketplaces, and infrastructures are communicating to us about our communities?

Come walk the 5 cities with friends and family to look, ask questions, learn, and pray over the places we call “home”.

We guarantee your hearts will be filled with new love, appreciation, and care for these communities as we allow Holy Spirit to show us new Kingdom realities in the faces we see and the places we explore!
