Every Wednesday morning from 9am until noon, something very special happens. Seventeen to twenty four women gather to pray, have fellowship and create hundreds of beautiful dolls to share with children all over the world.
In 1999 Naomi Luby started the group in her home. With donated sewing machines the Doll Makers were underway. Some women couldn’t sew, so they stuffed the dolls. Others sew clothes. Some paint faces or make curly wigs.
In July of 2008 the Doll Ministry moved to the home of Patty and Ron O’Reilly.
This is a ministry where the ladies pray and encourage each other, celebrate birthdays together and enjoy fellowship. “God blesses us beyond imagination” is often heard. The ladies pray that the children who receive the dolls will be blessed and come to know the love of Jesus.
Although they seldom see the children that receive the dolls, they do get many heartwarming reports. Over 12,000 dolls have been given away as of August, 2014. The following is a list where the dolls have traveled.

King’s Crew is a group of volunteers who meet at the church every Wednesday to help with practical projects. Painting railings, tearing out walls, setting tile, constructing cabinets, placing drywall are just samples of the types of work done by this team.
Every session begins with a time of prayer and ends with a lunch, so this is a great way to meet some other people while making a great contribution to New Life. Just show up Wednesday morning!
Some of the projects King’s Crew has completed:
• Conversion of the Gym to the Life Center
• Renovation of the Church Library and Lobby
• Renovation of Education Center Rooms
• Renovation of the Administrative and Care offices
• Construction of the Preschool Playground
NEW LIFE LIBRARY
The New Life Church Library was recently remodeled to look like a storefront bookstore. It is located on the West side of the main church lobby. We have a wide collection of books, audio books, DVDs, and other resources designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ.
We are looking for qualified people who can help with cataloging, reshelving, and check-out during our regular services. For information on how you can help, contact the church office.
Ushers & Greeters
We want people to feel welcome at New Life and our team of Ushers and Greeters are the first faces our visitors and attenders see each week. If you would like to join our team, you can choose to serve weekly, twice monthly or monthly at the service of your choice. There will be periodic meetings to train and upadate you as well.
