Grades 1 to 4 - Curriculum

Our curriculum is called "252 Basics".

It is based on Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man." 252 Basics provides a unique, accessible strategy to help children grow in wisdom, faith, and friendship.

Why 252 Basics?

As a church we have a limited number of opportunities to impact the lives of the children in our ministry. What would be most important for them to walk away with? We've asked ourselves that question as it relates to children's ministry, and decided that if certain truths really have life-changing potential, we need to be intentional about the way we communicate them. That's why 252 Basics emphasizes 3 basic truths, systematically taught over a 3-year track through 150 Bible stories. It is organized around a Biblical virtue and memory verse as the framework for each month.

That's also why we enlist the family by giving them a shared experience for parents and kids and equipping them to guide their child's spiritual development.
